She died in violence, our candle in the wind, killed, different version-always the police story. sloppy reconstruction, shoddy investigation- a politician a suspect. No judgment but the dust will not settle before the true objective and culprits are brought to book. If it settles her dreams of journalism lies in the living memories of journalists. Before sunset her tower will rise and the wind, carry on her candle burning.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the respectful posting. It seems likely that Mercy knew too much about something, and that, being quite capable of communicating what she knew, she was killed. Can't kill truth, though. And when the killer(s) are found out, they will wish, in more ways than one, that Mercy was still with them.
