The city to be , Eldoret town, The tallest building in the town, it towers like a giraffe in the great Rift Valley, the once a province now devolved into Counties.
The 'city' of the North Rift region , commercial capital of the region, where marathon runners arise to tackle the myriad games across the globe, 8 in 10 city marathon winners globally in any competition have stepped once in Eldoret and the adjacent town of Iten (i10)
The living testimony of the city of the nilotic people, the Nandi tribal people being the majority, the Keiyo , the Kipsigis community have a share fare of the ever growing city .
The diaspora community construction is ripe with suburbs rising and new housing projects being seen rising like mushroom. A southern bypass road deconjests the city while the great Uganda road still chokes in traffic rush hours at sunrise and sunset.
Notable improvements are seen as the old commercial city rises to number five in the country in 2023.
