An emotional farewell gripped Rotary International students as they bid cheerio to Yumi Chikuba from Japan who has been in Aurangabad,India in the last one year.
With the disaster at the Fukushima nuclear plant and earthquake, this was a moment to give a heart of courage,to share the load and stand as one world global citizens.Rotarians from Brazil Julliane,Danilo France Ilan,Margot,Nina and Alyzee..with whom tears flowed freely down their cheeks as the sleek bus left Aurangabad for Mumbai..surely it was a moment of true friendship as onlookers gazed of the the unseen joy with tears from real Amigos... Her host family Veena Dharmadhikari..who was in Japan some years back gave her motherly care,consoled Yumi and as Japan disaster unfolded ,when she needed a heart most ,,thanks Mum(Veena) for making her live happily, as she encompass good life,love and learnt a lot from India...Yumi we will miss You...(YC) Yumi Chikuba..You Care.. a Unity in diversity.It cheers and tears at the hot and humid day of April 2011,I saw her come and now she is leaving,it is sad for we shared a lot..simple sampled secrets...(Kwaheri Yumi safari njema) Swahili for bye Yumi safe journey..
